STEP 1. Select Survey
- I want to create my survey using the question library Allows you to create a new survey using the question library. During the 'design survey' procedure you will be redirected to 'Question Library' page, where you can choose questions for your survey.
- I want to create my survey using a template After clicking the Next button, select a category from the Category list box. Then, select a template from the Template list box. Click the Preview button to take a look at the survey template. Once you find one you like, you can continue by clicking the Next button.
Note that with some templates, you can replace all occurrences of certain words or phrases with your own using the Template Customization section that may appear near the bottom of the page.
- I want to create my new survey by copying an existing survey Allows you to create a new survey by copying one of your existing surveys. Select the survey you want to copy from the list box. You can click the Preview button to get a look at the selected survey before continuing
Note that on the survey 'Name' page which will follow when you click the Next button, you must alter the survey name at least slightly - it is not possible to have two surveys within your account that use exactly the same name.
- I want to create my survey from scratch Using this option you can add questions, apply layout and perform other settings you need to the blank survey step by step.
- I want to create a common-password survey (advanced option) This advanced option allows you to create a "profile" survey. This type of survey is used to store profile information and profile codes, and can be linked to any other normal survey in your account.
Note that 3D Matrix questions cannot be created in this type of survey. To collect profile information such as name, email address, telephone number, etc., we suggest using the "Single line text with pre-format options" question type.
